Welcome to Castle Rock Arabians! 
Learn the joy of riding a horse, horsemanship and experience life on a ranch in the foothills of Mount Diablo.  Our program includes an environment for young people (and adults) who love horses to improve their riding skills both in the arena and on the trail.

Kristen offer campers the knowledge to take their riding skills to a higher level.  Her campers have fun while learning with her constant coaching and many wonderful demonstrations in which they can participate

Tiny Riders
Have fun riding ponies and horses!
Our older, experienced horses take care of little riders. Each little beginner may require a handler and a side walker to make it safe and fun.

Our ratio is one-on-one with beginners in the saddle and no more than three to one when not on horseback.  Advanced riders are in a separate camp group and their skills are evaluated on their first ride.

Castle Rock Camp attends Demonstration  Horse Day at neighboring Ranch, Leap of Faith Farms on field trip for the July 19 week camp. Kristen performs riding her horse without reins, saddle or bridle.
Kristen performs without bridle, reins or saddle to demonstrate the balanced ride using only legs and seat to control the horse. Kristen and her horse TaylorMade are  true partners. See additional pictures on our Camp Page.
