Castle Rock Arabians Show Team News           
What started out as a very small group on Sunday, blossomed into over a hundred people attending the Spring Schooling Show at CRA.
The best show ever! Classes were filled with up to 8 or 9 (each class!) eager new riders trying their first competition.  Some veteran competitors came too. 
Some to show support of our fledgling show team and others to ride under the competent eye of judge, Debbie Compilli.
Debbie's fame as a top Reiner is legend in Northern California and she is an officer in our Diablo Arabian Horse Association.  

As parents watch their determined child ride to win, they begin to understand and share the excitement.  Where once they
put together show clothes using mom's old jackets and blouses, they now take it to another level with neat but inexpensive
riding apparel.  Nadia's mom was able to purchase a beautiful show jacket from Sunny Townsend that looks elegant on
Nadia (Shown below with her first blue ribbon.) As the competition becomes keener - watch out horse shows--here we come!
We thank Anne Wheeler for her expertise as Show Secretary and Allyson Kardel as announcer.  Cliff Naber provided a good
mix of Western Music and took great photos. Bob Graves barbecued Hamburger and Hot Dogs for lunch break.
